The Gathered Tour
Lagos
OCTOBER 17 - 26, 2026
A CURATED 8-DAY COLLECTOR EXPERIENCE IN THE MOST CREATIVE CITY ON THE CONTINENT.
What Collectors Are Saying
Collecting is a lifestyle.
Intention is the only permission you need.
For intentional collectors who understand that storytelling, craft, and heritage are the foundation of a living collection. Rooted in Chicago and anchored around Design Week Lagos 2026, the Gathered Tour Lagos is a Golden Our experience built around the richness of Black creative culture across the diaspora, celebrating the artists, designers, and makers whose work carries the full weight of where we come from and where we are going.
Design Week Lagos 2026
Design Week Lagos (October 18 - 25, 2026) is Africa's premier independent design festival, which aims to elevate indigenous African design culture to a global stage. It features citywide installations, a Design + Innovation Exhibition, and the IDEA Award.
This year, Design Week Lagos will be held at the historic National theater with Chicago designer Norman Teague as lead curator under the theme Making a New Africa: From Material to Market. Ogechi Harry serves on the Design Week Lagos 2026 curatorial team alongside Norman Teague.
Tour guests will attend guided visits across all five pavilions, with access to the Design Museum featuring collectible works by the next generation of African designers, and a private National Theatre collection tour.
